Looking into these poor eyes, You cannot help but wonder How she kept her sanity In the stress that she was under- A child of only seven years Should never have to see These horrible atrocities Or lose their family.. When you imagine little girls, You think of life and laughter- You do not think of gunshots Or the sights that linger after- You think of teddy bears And of parents loving embrace- You don't think of a child Whose loneliness defines her face.
